What lands in your inbox

Three minutes that make Monday feel different.

01

One idea, not ten

A single reflection you can actually hold onto — instead of a list you'll never get to.

02

Honest, not polished

Real stories from running a business, staying married well, and raising two boys who are growing up fast.

03

Faith woven in

Scripture where it genuinely fits the moment. A reflection, never a sermon.

This is the whole thing — the length, the tone, the way it ends. If it sounds like something you'd want on a Sunday evening, you're in the right place.

Be where your feet are

Hey there,

We've spent the last couple of weeks surrounded by some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Towering mountains. Crystal-clear lakes. Long conversations. Watching my boys laugh together.

And yet, I've caught myself more than once mentally sitting somewhere else. Thinking about work. Running through a problem. Wondering what I'll need to tackle when we get home.

It's funny how changing your environment doesn't automatically quiet your mind.

Presence is a muscle. It has to be practiced.

Sometimes I find myself feeling sad about how quickly the years have gone. Other times I'm excited about the young men my boys are becoming. Both thoughts are good. But if I'm not careful, both can steal today.

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Matthew 6:34

I don't think Jesus was telling us not to plan. He was reminding us not to live somewhere other than where God has placed us today.

Don't let yesterday steal your gratitude. Don't let tomorrow steal your attention. Be where your feet are.

Because someday, these ordinary moments will be the ones you wish you could have back.

Let's reset.

Who's writing

I'm Paul — and I'm still figuring this out with you.

I'm a business owner, a husband to Alisha, and a dad to Caleb and Luke. Most of what I've learned about leadership I learned the slow way — at home, in the business, and in the seasons where the plan changed.

I write The Growth Leader for people who want to grow from the inside out: leaders who care as much about character as they do about results. The Sunday Evening Reset is the most honest thing I write all week.

Success without alignment is empty. Growth happens quietly , long before anyone notices.
